Cloud Engineer here is where your challenge starts:
As a Cloud engineer you are part of the global delivery team of the global IT operations department. This is a global team of engineers that delivers critical infrastructure and ensures a high level of availability, performance and security for the entire (international) Stage Entertainment group. Members of the team may be in different locations.
The IT operations department is responsible for the following areas: connectivity, network, server management, datacenter, user devices, workplace automation, telephony and printing.
The Cloud Engineer is the knowledge holders of our Base IT environment. You design, build, secure, maintain and monitor our Base IT environment. You are responsible for change and incident management and perform second line support. You have third line support from vendors and partners for specific complicated topics and projects. You report to the Head of Global It Operations.

Specific responsibilities:

• Management, configuration and maintanance of the hybrid cloud intrastructure (private cloud and MS Azure based).
• Implement and monitor Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Desktop, M365, Active Directory or Entra ID.
• Evaluate new technologies, drive the modernization and improvement of our IT system landscape and support the migration of existing applications.
• Automate processes and orchestrate resources to speed up and simplify processes.
• Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting systems to minimize downtime and maximize availability.
• Proactively monitor and manage the systems and infrastructure to ensure there are no productivity setbacks or security risks.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor or master degree in computer science, information technology or a related field or comparable level acquired through extensive experience.
• Several years of professional experience in the design and implementation of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Fluent in English (spoken and writing), German language skill will be a plus
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Intune Device Management and PowerShell Scripting.
• You have good problem solving and communication skills, are aware of organizational sensitivity and build strong relationships with stakeholders within the organization.
